Melbourne Coarse Anglers (MCA) were initially formed back in 1985 and have had an active club match fishing calendar since that time. MCA matches are run in Victoria and are generally fished within 100 kilometers from Melbourne. West Australian Coarse Anglers Club
The West Australian Coarse Angling Club are passed in Perth and are WA only genuine Coarse Angling Club. They actively promote for new members and a provide every opportunity and support any angler interested in coarse fishing.
The club has a relaxed and social nature however they run a number of matches over the year which are fiercely competed.
WA members of the AFCAA regularly travel over 2500 kilometers to the Victoria and NSW to participate in some the Federation’s major events enjoying the camaraderie and the match fishing competitions.
The AFCAA will in the near future be sponsoring a match fishing event to be run in WA which in line with other states around Australia will be called the WA State Championship.

Sydney Coarse Angling Club
The Sydney Coarse Angling Club was formed in the late 1980’s. They have an active matching fishing calendar. However, over the last couple of years they have been challenged with finding suitable venues. However, they still get out on a regular basis. With the climate of Sydney the main fish that are caught in and around Sydney area are Carp , Goldfish and various Carp Hybrids.
The anglers in NSW regularly compete in Federation events and have for many years been responsible for the running of the very popular Canberra Classic in Canberra.

South Adelaide Match Angling Group
The South Adelaide Match Angling Group (S.A.M.A.G.) are a keen group of match anglers that live in and around Adelaide. They organize regular matches and also have quite a social scene with Anglers tripping around trying new venues.
They have a really good Facebook Group running, which has regular updates and creates a good amount of banter amongst the group members from around Australia and New Zealand.
